Moving forward: the centrality of social care in future policy making

With a General Election fast approaching, government policy on social care is a matter for hot debate. There are competing models for the future of social care including greater regulation, focus on not for profit care and the creation of a National Care Service. But what could these changes mean for the way that care is provided and how will this improve social care? At this event the expert panel, representing employer, trade union and campaigning perspectives, will discuss these issues and answer questions about how government policy on social care can and will change.
