Caron has worked in health and social care for nearly 40 years in operational, quality and governance roles. More recent appointments include ICB Chair for Mid and South Essex Nursing Advisory Council. Caron has recently contributed to the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s Post Registration Standards Assimilation Process and the Field Specific Standards Reference Group with the Queens Nursing Institute, developing and mapping Standards of Education and Practice for Nurses, for a Community Nursing Specialist Practice Qualification. She authored an Amazon best-seller, a no-holds barred exploration of PTSD and its impact on families and contributes to a co-production group for veterans, reservists, and families, designing services for Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust. Caron is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute where she coaches and mentors rising stars in the NHS and Social Care sector.
