Charles is the Co-Founder and CEO of Florence, a company that is building the technology to power the flexible workforce across health and social care. Founded in 2017, Florence now works with more than 1,000 health and care providers and supports them to increase the quality, improve the efficiency and reduce the cost of their temp staffing. Florence has raised more than £35m in venture funding and is live in the UK, France and Canada. Before starting Florence, Charles was an NHS doctor where he experienced first hand the pressures facing the healthcare workforce and realised the opportunity to use technology to create solutions to some of the biggest challenges in healthcare provision.
