Louis joined Care England in September 2020. With a fascination with digitalisation and cyber/data-security theory, he quickly found himself involved in the many policy streams that digital transformation has to offer adult social care. Louis strongly believes that ethical data collection is paramount within adult social care, and providers must be treated as equal partners in data sharing. This thinking has further led Louis to play a central role in supporting Care England’s work on Integrated Care Systems which he views as an opportunity to bring about a health and care system that promotes collaboration between all partners and improves the lives of those most vulnerable. Louis’ main workstreams focus on digitalisation, integration and funding, and he is significantly involved in Care England’s work with Digital Social Care.
