CEO,
Nobi
Roeland Pelgrims (1981) is a serial entrepreneur driven by a passion for purposeful innovation. If an industry feels outdated or unnecessarily complex, he is probably already working on a smarter, more meaningful solution.
His career spans real estate, smart home technology, and elderly care, always with the goal of creating products that integrate seamlessly into life and truly make a difference. He previously served as a board member of Armonea, Belgium’s largest private elderly care provider, and as CEO of digitalSTROM, a leading smart home platform.
Today, as co-founder and CEO of Nobi, he is transforming elderly care and smart living with AI-powered smart lights that detect and prevent falls—but that’s just the beginning. Nobi is evolving into a comprehensive care platform, integrating with other technologies to support well-being in every aspect of life. Now active in 17+ countries and adopted by leading care groups, its impact continues to grow every day.
Beyond Nobi, he mentors startups at Birdhouse, helping founders build solutions that don’t just function, but fit, last, and redefine their industries.
