Throughout her 25-year career in the NHS and education, Stella has had the privilege of utilising her expertise as a senior nurse and lecturer to make a positive impact in both clinical and educational settings. Her commitment to ongoing learning and development led her to obtain a master’s degree in education, allowing her to specialise in teaching clinical skills and incorporating simulated technology into nursing education. As Stella expanded her horizons, she ventured into project management within the NHS, successfully streamlining workforce practices and implementing an Occupational Health Hub and Spoke model. Her ability to liaise with senior managers and achieve project outcomes allowed her to thrive in these roles and take on new challenges. Despite her success in management, Stella ultimately decided to pursue a new career path by establishing her own business. Leveraging her nursing, teaching, and project management skills, she has been able to develop a clear business strategy and achieve positive results since the inception of StellarCare NW in November 2019. StellarCare NW LTD is now an award winning home care agency that uses a blended roles approach to improve care and client outcomes.
