Here are a few quick tips for navigating London like a pro. No matter what mode of transportation you use, we think you’ll agree that getting to the Excel London has never been easier.
EXCEL LONDON
One Western Gateway
Royal Victoria Dock
London E16 1XL
For Sat Nav purposes, please use postcode E16 1DR.
If you are travelling by public transport, the nearest station is Custom House. This is part of the DLR network. Use the TFL Journey Planner to plan your route or view on Google Maps.
Please note Sandstone Lane and Seagull Lane stretch of private road on the north side of the venue will be permanently closing from 4th April 2023. Access to the car park under the venue will only be via Royal Victoria Dock Road or the A112, click here to see the map.
If you are using a sat nav, please use the postcode E16 1FR.
ExCeL London has recently invested in improvements to the venue’s car park. New access control measures along with a pre-booking system means spaces can be booked prior to arriving on site. The new system operates using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. Pre-booking is the only way to guarantee a parking space.
To pre-book your parking space, please visit the online booking platform here. Please select the date(s) you would like to park which should then display the event you are planning to attend. Select the type of space you need and complete the form to secure your spot. All onsite car parking is directly beneath the venue, available on a first come first served basis. Parking costs £25 for up to 24 hours (blue badge holders can park in designated disabled parking bays located next to the entrances to the venue) and is available for cars, transit vans and minibuses up to 3.5T.
For parking enquiries, please email parkingonline@excel.london.
If you have pre-booked your parking space and no longer require it, you can cancel your booking for a full refund within the 'manage-my-booking' section of the booking portal. Refunds will be considered within 5 working days of receipt of any email.
London is connected by rail to all major cities in Great Britain, with frequent services to all corners of the country. Rail services in the UK are run by a set of private train operating companies. Your point of departure will determine the best service to take and at what station your train will arrive into London.
There are several ticketing websites or apps, like Trainline and National Rail that can help you find cheap train tickets, and compare prices and times.
Hailing one of the black taxi cabs will make you feel like a true Londoner.
All taxis accept cash and most accept credit and debit cards.
Another option is to make use of the application UBER and request a ride with the app.
Two of the stations, Custom House and Prince Regent, are on the ExCeL campus. Trains pull up at a covered walkway leaving visitors with less than a two minute’s walk to the entrance.
DLR services: All trains towards Beckton/Gallions Reach will stop at Custom House. ExCeL London is located in Zone 3.
The new Elizabeth Line, Jubilee Line and the DLR are the quickest routes to ExCeL London. Board Elizabeth Line at number of stations from Heathrow in the west through Central London and Abbey Wood in the east. Alight at Canning Town on the Jubilee Line and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR train to Custom House for ExCeL. Buy an Oyster Card at any underground station to pay for your transport or use a contactless payment card.
....Or why not jump on the UK’s first urban cable car, which connects ExCeL London to the O2 and North Greenwich tube station.
What's more? As a delegate, you can enjoy a discounted fare. All you need to do is arrive at either ticket office and display your ExCeL event badge and ask for the special fare.
It has come to our attention that there is a scam operating around hotel accommodation bookings at the ExCeL London.
Company calling itself CONVENTION EXPO TRAVEL and GLOBAL TRAVEL ASSOCIATION have been approaching companies at the show purporting to be the official hotel booking agency for the show and taking credit card details and bookings without making any such bookings with the hotels concerned.
We have discovered from fellow exhibition organising companies, that other trade shows’ exhibitors have also been approached in similar fashion.
We would advise you if you are contacted by CONVENTION EXPO TRAVEL or GLOBAL TRAVEL ASSOCIATION, do NOT under any circumstances make a booking with them or give any credit card details.
